About Guadalupe SAR

Veteran-led and founded, Guadalupe Search & Rescue (Guadalupe SAR) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, dedicated to serving the Texas Hill Country community with courage, compassion, and integrity.

We began in response to the Guadalupe River flooding on July 4, 2025, when a group of volunteers from many different walks of life came together with a single purpose: to help in times of crisis. What started as a call to action quickly turned into weeks of strenuous, physically demanding, and at times traumatic service. Through those experiences, strangers became family, and a vision for something larger was born.

Though we are a new organization, we are steadily growing in both numbers and experience. Our volunteers train with dedication so we can provide effective support to local agencies, families, and communities in need. At Guadalupe SAR, we believe that no one should face crisis alone.

Together, we stand ready to answer the call bringing strength, skill and hope to the Texas Hill Country and beyond.
