16 Guadalupe SAR Volunteers Earn GSAR1 Certification
From November 15–16, 2025 , 16 Guadalupe SAR volunteers and 10 volunteers from the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department successfully completed Ground Search & Rescue Level 1 Technician (GSAR1) training. The course included classroom instruction, land navigation, search tactics, field skills, and a night operation — all designed to prepare volunteers to operate effectively during real-world ground search missions.
